April Grounded Gratitude Day 19

Grounded Gratitude Day 19!๐Ÿ

I got a little preoccupied doing some gardening with my mum for my deck so thatโ€™s why this is post comes a little late to you today๐ŸŒฟ I have some new little plant babies who I shall cherish & (hopefully) grow in the coming months!

My new plant babies!

Iโ€™ve also stuck a TON of Queer Eye gifs in my post which will be published tomorrow, so those lifted my spirits as well ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป

April Grounded Gratitude – Day 2

April Grounded Gratitude – Day 2

โ โ €
I’ve come to recognize a lot of what I was putting out for my Grounded Gratitude practice posts, were things which I have been grateful for within my current situation (a la isolated at home). While that’s been super fulfilling, I have sort of neglected to focus on things which I am grateful for which I encountered & appreciated pre-pandemic.๐Ÿค”โ โ €

  • I am grateful for a landlord and rental company who are understanding and sympathetic to financial hardship.
  • I am grateful for massage therapy appointments.
  • I am grateful for Tiger King memes.

โ โ €
I plan to incorporate more of those elements, which while I don’t have them now, I can look forward to having them present again in the future. Such as massage therapy!๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธโ โ €

Grounded Gratitude Day 13

Grounded Gratitude Day 13

Grounded Gratitude Day 13 – hello! I had tuna melt today for lunch which I used to eat all the time growing up! I’m grateful for meals that bring you back to when you were a kid.

  • I am grateful for making lunches I ate as a kid (tuna melts!)
  • I am grateful for sunshine
  • I am grateful for documentaries

I’ve decided that i’ll restart from Day 1 for Grounded Gratitude when April 1st comes around. That way, my days don’t get out of hand & we find ourselves reaching Day 103 of Grounded Gratitude haha ( I mean, that’s commitment though, right?).

Did you have a fave meal as a kid growing up? If so, what was it? Let me know in the comments below! ~LE.

Grounded Gratitude Day 10

Grounded Gratitude Day 10

Hi all – Grounded Gratitude Day 10 here for you and me! Today is all about appreciation for personal care & parents๐Ÿ’œ

  • I am grateful for taking the time and effort to do my hair this morning rather than throwing it up in a bun.
  • I am grateful for my Lush shampoo/conditioner bars, in an attempt to reduce single-use plastics in my home.
  • I am grateful for mid-week visits to my parents’ house.

It’s raining outside so a good day to stay indoors, putz around the apartment & work on some great content for my blog – about to make myself a cup of tea, too ๐Ÿค—

Grounded Gratitude Day 4

Grounded Gratitude Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of Grounded Gratitude on the blog (ahah I typed blug first)! It’s Friday yippee!

  1. I am grateful for puzzles and adult coloring books.
  2. I am grateful for the number of resources being made available to keep people busy during the pandemic (i.e. Vancouver Symphony Orchestra posting concerts people can stream online, crafting videos via the local library, audio-books).
  3. I am grateful that I have taken the necessary steps to lower my exposure to negative news coverage, through such means as reducing time spent on social media and tuning out press conferences. These steps have been taken in order to keep myself mentally uplifted and maintaining a positive mindset.

Here’s to surviving, thriving and keeping optimistic! ~LE
