I had a blog post scheduled to come out today counting the ways my overthinking has actually made me a better person (which I found shocking I could think of any considering it’s usually my weapon of choice when I self-sabotage my relationships – YEET).
Simply put though … it wasn’t my best work, I didn’t get that excited feeling when writing it and I just can’t bring myself to post it today.
But that’s okay! Sometimes the content you create might feel a little … meh.
You’re not going to knock every post out of the park, or feel like you’re knocking it out of the park. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that though. In fact I think it’s good to sit with that feeling, to make yourself aware. In my instance, I decided to hold off on posting it (or posting it at all) but that shouldn’t stop you from posting your content, even if you’re feeling iffy about it.
Sometimes it’s the content you feel “just okay” about that turns out to be the one you get the most engagement from or feedback about. It’s how you personally feel and how you want to approach it.
