I see journaling in a similar light – there’s a cleansed feeling that goes with it, you feel more fresh, more like yourself. Perhaps you put on a face or a front today – moods, emotions, or actual make-up. But it’s okay, you can take these things off, you can release your thoughts, you can lift the weight from your shoulders, you can ease your mind.
